Who we are

Ibom Medical Journal [Ibom Med J] is an open-access peer-reviewed triannual biomedical journal published by the Nigerian Medical Association, Akwa Ibom State Branch. At the presence, Ibom Med J is published in January as issue 1, May as issue 2 and September as issue 3 every year.

Ibom Med J publishes original research articles, review articles, systematic reviews, rare case reports, commentaries, communications, etc in all fields of medicine. The Ibom Med J also publishes articles in Basic Medical Sciences and Allied Medical Sciences.

Allow 5 – 10 working days for our reviewers to review your manuscript. It can be shorter depending on the number of requests we are currently handling. You will be notified when your manuscript has been received.

Published
